Academia Quantieme Perpetuel Sport
Sporty and highly technical, the Academia Quantième Perpétuel Sport is a true racing machine displaying an emblematic “speedy red” of circumstance. The main central applique travels from North to South and is bordered by two red and white lines symbolizing a fast but sinuous section of a racing track. A couple of thin red lines come rushing out the back of the DeWitt logo, just like the back lights of a car dashing through the night.
The two retrograde counters, positioned on top of the radiator “grilles” at 3 and 9 o’clock respectively indicate the date and days of the week with little red hands. The thin and elongated center seconds hand also stands out in a flashy red as it glides round the dial. At 12 o’clock, a circular counter displays the months and leap year indications and, finally, the moon-phase information is revealed in a window at 6 o’clock.
